I havn’t posted any new work this year but i’ve been busy making it, some of it is starting to show up finally.
A concert poster for The Knife at the Fox theater in Oakland CA. A Swedish brother/sister electronic music duo noted for being uncooperative with the media and hiding their faces during promotional appearances. I may or may not have carried this idea over to the poster and used a photograph of entirely different people, the ultimate disguise. The typography runs vertically and is ‘mirrored’ much like the siblings musical collaborations, I was amazed to have been given an enthusiastic approval for such a hard to decipher type treatment.
