A two-sided concert poster for Canadian indie-rock supergroup The New Pornographers double bill in Vancouver.
Die-cut to represent an oversized door hang, the ‘pause’ & ‘play’ symbols took a visual cue from the band’s name whilst adding a humorous twist to standard door hanger information. The good fortune of discovering the venue’s name – The Vogue, sounded vaguely like a seedy motel, completed the overall effect.
